Today I want to go back to the iPhone, the phone that has captured the hearts of many in this creative world. What is really behind it?
This company that manufactures technological devices called Apple Inc., started a long time ago since 1/4/1976 and its first logo was created in the 1977. As we see it today, it is not what the creator had in mind, but it consisted of an image of a scientist known as Isaac Newton sitting under a tree reading a book. Above him is a fruit that we could call an apple, which was later modified to be what we see today (a bitten apple).
What is really hidden behind this technology of the iPhone?
Let’s start with the name of the phone itself. iPhone means: eye + phone. we can say it is the eye of the phone. When you enter the programs of this phone you will find one called SIRI. it is other important secrets that analysts have revealed, because if you read that word from the back, it is IRIS. for those who have learnt it or others who know, IRIS is a part of the eye. When you dig into it, you can clearly see that there is a special message being given indirectly.
Let’s analyze the origin of the name IRIS.
It is said that IRIS was a Greek goddess who came from Thomas and Elektra who were called messengers. It is said that this goddess of IRIS was a messenger who connects people and connects them with other gods. It is also what the Greeks called all other gods. This helps us remember what phones do, which is to send messages from one place to another and also connects people in different ways. This is exactly what this idol IRIS did. If you look closely at the Eliminate logos, you will find that among their strong logos, there is one that is an eye. Another thing I must mention about IRIS is that the name itself means rainbow. Among the symbols of this iPhone logo, there is one made up of rainbow-like colors, although there is one that is not, but rather looks like the LGBTQ flag. Their flag is made up of six (6) colors, while the rainbow as a symbol of God is seven (7) colors, as the Bible clearly explains, the rainbow reminds us of the promise of Mercy that God made to people after the flood (Genesis 9:14). Remember those two numbers (7&6), one refers to the fullness of God (7) and the other refers to the number of man or Satan (6). The fact that they used the number 6 in some places should also be very careful. (Revelation 13:18).
Let’s go back to the iPhone logo. We all or most know that it is a bitten apple on one side. This is also related to the story told in the Bible in the Garden of Eden where God had forbidden Adam and Eve to eat the fruit of the tree of knowledge (good and evil). And this shows disobedience to the son of man because that is where sin originated and will cause many to perish if they do not believe in Christ Jesus as their king and savior (John 3:18).
Why did the company that makes technology equipment (apple inc) not put a living apple on top and choose to put a symbol of an apple with a bite taken out of one side?
If you look at the explanation, they say that they wanted to distinguish it from the cherry tomato. This phone has not been here for a long time because the first one was released in 2007.
The Apple company in all their products is preceded by the letter i: ipod, ipad, imac and iphone. Steven Jobs himself says that the letter i, says 4 things: internet, individual, instruct, inform & inspire. These words may also have a deep meaning of their own.
In 2022, people using iPhone phones reached one billion and two hundred (1.2 Billion) worldwide. In America alone, there are more than one hundred and ten million (110 million) users of this phone. America and England are where there are the most people using iPhones in the world.
Have you ever wondered why these phones attract many? Apart from the fact that they are said to be powerful and secure, do you see many people buying them for that purpose or because they are good to own, to brag to others and so on? (Readers, be careful, I did not say that all of them have these reasons. But many, especially the youth, have this reason for having them.) Perhaps there is another secret that we do not know that causes many to be addicted to this phone, some even committing sins to get their hands on it. In a study, it was shown that the iPhone is more addictive than other phones (Tossell et al., 2015) How does all of this relate to the Bible?
Does using Apple products put people in danger?
When we read in the Bible, we find that God forbade Adam and Eve to eat the fruit of a certain tree in the Garden of Eden, but the Bible does not clearly state what kind of fruit it was (Genesis 2:17). Biblical scholars have often said that it was a fig, which is how most people have interpreted it, although it is not true because the Bible does not specify. Different authors refer to different fruits. For example, some say a grape because it is also mentioned in the Bible; others say a fig, an apple, etc.
The important thing is not the type of fruit, but what it represents. The reason we have come back to the iPhone logo so much is because the fruit they used is a symbol and we all know that the original story is found in the Bible. In other words, an apple with a bit taken out of one side symbolizes disobedience to God and rebellion, in one way or another, using an apple with a bit taken out of one side can indicate a desire to disobey God but in a mysterious way. Secondly, in the reform of the Apple logo, their second logo in 1977 consisted of rainbow colors but with six (6) instead of seven (7) which also coincides exactly with the colors used by the LGBTQ community. This logo was also changed but they only changed the colors that make it up. See the photo in this article.
In conclusion, I would like to remind Christians, both those who believe in Jesus Christ as their king and savior and those who do not believe in him, that we should be careful about what we see, are told and know the time we have arrived by seeking the truth in the holy scriptures (Acts 17:11).
Many teachers say that whatever we do, no matter how many sins we commit, it will be nothing because Jesus finished it, but this is a lie of Satan to mislead people because the word of God tells us that the grace of God teaches us to abandon ungodliness and worldly desires, and teaches us to be sober, righteous, and godly in this present age (Titus 2:11) and also the Bible warns us that we should take on the whole armor of God so that we can stand firm against the deception of the devil (Ephesians 6:11), in other words Satan works in deception because he can also disguise himself as an angel of light (2 Corinthians 11:14). he can work in what we call ordinary but his purpose is to steal, kill and destroy (John 10:10).
It is not wrong to use technology because it helps us in spreading the good news of Christ Jesus and other things we need in our daily lives, but everyone should know how to keep up with development, not forgetting that in this world there is an enemy (satan) who works in mysterious ways (2 Thessalonians 2:7).
If we continue to pray, believe in the Lord Christ Jesus at all times and keep our eyes on him, we will not go astray.
A fool believes everything he is told, but the prudent considers his steps (Proverbs 14:15).
Here we can ask ourselves different questions: if this company comes up with a way to insert a small needle into a person’s body to show that their development is accelerating, how will you react to this, since the Bible has something to say about it? (Revelation 13:16-17). Will you allow them to treat you as they want or will you stop using their devices? Don’t other companies that own technology devices have other mysterious methods that we don’t know about?
Be watchful.
Shalom.
